Whether you say you can or you can’t, you’re right

As the Bible states, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” This means we are what we think we are. If we say we are doomed, we are right. If we say we are blessed, we are right. Words and thoughts are POWERFUL and will either help us conquer or help defeat us.

This is why we should never say words like, “I can’t” or “that will never happen.”

I learned this lesson while separated from my wife back in 2007. Everyone who knew us said we’d never get back together again. But not me. I had been reading the Bible a lot and was immersed in the teachings of Christ, which hold ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE (Mark 9:23). I never wavered from that truth even though all indicators I could physically “see” indicated we would not reconcile. I chose to walk by faith and not by sight.

A few months later my wife and I reconciled and began attending church and reading the Bible together. Then everyone was amazed and thought we wouldn’t last. But I kept affirming the word of God and believing we would stay together and grow closer and closer, and we did! 16 years later not only are we still together but we are more in love than we have ever been. We give God and the POWER of FAITH the size of a mustard seed all the glory.

So, today speak the words of victory and not defeat. Think victorious and speak victorious. Walk by faith and not by sight. Trust God. Do what He says. And one way or another you will be victorious.

“In this world you will have trouble, but take heart, I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33)
