Meet Mark Johnston, local faith -based author and wellness coach, and help celebrate the launch of his new book, “This is the Way: Finding strength, healing, peace, purpose, and hope in dark times.” There will be free pizza and water. Mark will introduce himself, his purpose for writing the book, read the introduction to the book, and answer questions. If there is time, Mark will facilitate discussion.
Books will be available for purchase for only $5, and we have a handful of free promo codes to give out to listen to the book free on audible.com. There will also be a brief opening and closing prayer.
This event is open to anyone of any political or spiritual persuasion. There will be some discussion on the depression epidemic in America; however, we will not be pointing fingers at politicians or political parties or debating theologies or politics. The book is an encouragement that offers faith-based insights and testimony to help people persevere and find hope in troubling times.
Bio: Mark is a United States, military veteran who served his communications career as a senior project manager, leadership trainer, change leader, and education technology executive. He is the author of the book “The Last Breakup” with his wife Rebecca of 31 years, and several other books on music production and fitness. He is now a full-time author, editor, writing coach, biblical counselor, and fellowship group leader. Mark is a champion of healing, wholeness, and freedom through living by faith in God.
